I have spent 20 years studying, researching, teaching, and practicing communication in academic, corporate, and nonprofit settings.

I am faculty at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs where I teach and direct the Leadership Communication track.

I have a Ph.D. in Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Sydney, Australia. I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina, and the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.
